Beaches International Jazz Festival

July 10-26th

Beaches Neighborhood

Celebrating 27 years of summer fun, the entirely FREE Beaches International Jazz Festival fills the air with groovy tunes nearly the entire month of July. Centered in scenic Woodbine Park, just 20 minutes from our hotel, the 3-week outdoor concert series is one of the hottest events in Toronto all year. With global styles ranging from Big Band and Swing, to Fusion, Funk, Afro-Cuban, Latin and Calypso, you're guaranteed to feel a beat that gets you moving.

Week #1 – July 10-12th

The festival's Main Stage is located in Woodbine Park, boasting an eclectic selection of renowned performers from around the world, along with an Indie Stage for up-and-coming artists to take the spotlight.

Week #2 – July 17-19th

The second week of festivities lights up 4 stages, as influential jazz stars share their stories on the main, and Ports Toronto Youth Stage features impressive ensembles from a local music school. There's also a Party Island decicated to Afro-Caribbean stylings, and an all-new SING! A Capella Stage, focused entirely on the elevating power of voice.

Taste of Jazz

July 21st & 22nd

Now in its 3rd year, the Main Stage area transforms into a celebration of food, drinks, and live music for a Taste of Jazz. Toronto's finest gourmet food trucks offer mouthwatering dishes like lobster rolls, grilled burgers, gravy-soaked poutine, and all things bacon, with a beer/wine garden to wash it all down.

Week #3 – July 23rd-26th

Saving the best for last, StreetFest features over 40 bands outside venues along 2.5 kilometers of Queen Street, July 23rd-25th, 7-11pm. There are also 4 stages of music in Woodbine Park, with a 5th at Beach United Church (140 Wineva Avenue).
