Start your engines for the
2013 Honda Indy Toronto! In its 25th year, this heart-pounding
street circuit race includes 11 thrilling turns and 85 jaw-dropping laps
through downtown Toronto. The circuit is just over 2.8 kilometres (1.75 miles)
and the distance is a little more than 240 kilometres.
American Ryan Hunter-Reay of Andretti Autosport was the 2012 Honda Indy Toronto
winner, averaging an awesome speed of almost 96 miles per hour. He finished in
an impressive 1 hour, 33 minutes, and 27 seconds. Will he be back among the
qualifiers to reign again?
For the first time, this year’s event features a
doubleheader—two days of full-length IndyCar races with championship points on
the line—and lots of other cool changes. Two-day Upper Row tickets include an
IndyCar Paddock Pass. There are also new stands for better viewing of the race
circuit. Fans will have improved visibility at the new Turn 10 Grandstands,
Turn 3, and Dr. Pepper reserved seating.
For the 2013 Honda Indy Toronto, general admission tickets are $50 for 2 days
or $35 for 1 day. If you get a Grand Stand ticket ($165 for 2 days), those 18
and older can get a Pit Pass for $125, but there are only 200 of these
