"Whilst the hotel is an Intercontinental [with all the positives that entails] it is small enough to make it personal and boutique-like. Having stayed here over many years, it has been consistently excellent. The location could not be better - close to shops, subway etc. Friendly and helpful staff, in all areas of the hotel, make for a great stay."

"This hotel is well located for sightseeing. Some major sights are nearby, there is good transportation to others, and there is a stop for the on and off again tour buses just down the street. The Yorkville neighbourhood has great shopping and restaurants. The hotel is larger than what I usually choose, but the friendly and helpful staff gave it a more boutique feel. The rooms were large, clean and attractive with the only negative being a leaky toilet. After a day of sightseeing, the bar and patio provided a great escape from the city noise and crowds. Although the hotel is rated 4 stars, the head concierge, Carolina, is definitely 5 stars. She provided great advice and added to our enjoyment of Toronto. Thank you, Carolina!!"
