Canada's Walk of Fame Festival Coming To Toronto

Canada’s Walk of Fame Festival
September 19 to September 21, 2013

It’s a celebration of all Canada’s contributions to pop culture, from live music on stage to screenings of iconic film favorites. If you happen to be in the country during the Walk of Fame for a visit, Toronto is the place to be for a three-day movie and music marathon.

You can buy tickets online to see one of Canada’s most celebrated, award-winning rockers, Burton Cummings and his band, with special guest Lee Harvey Osmond (Tom Wilson), starting at $59. This big name is back by popular demand, kicking off the show in high style. Following this internationally acclaimed artist, you can reserve spots to see Serena Ryder with special guest 54-50, a show that’s sure to deliver one soulful hit after the next.

Another major musical event includes Hip Hop sensation Maestro Fresh Wes and Friends with special guest appearances by K-OS, Kardinal Offishall, Classified, and Shad, Divine Brown, The Trews, and Rascalz. With tickets starting at $29.95, you’ll have access to a full lineup of all-stars at this 100-percent Canadian concert. Across the board, you’ll get your chance to see JUNO award-winners take the stage.

In addition to the much buzzed-about music, free screenings will take place throughout Canada’s Walk of Fame in Toronto. Take advantage of this opportunity to catch your favorite flicks on the big screen, from recent Academy Award-winning “Argo” to throwbacks including “The Blues Brothers,” “Back to the Future,” and “Star Trek II- Wrath of Khan.”
