2015 Toronto Film Festivals: Inside Out LGBT Film Festival

The 25th annual LGBT Film Festival, one of the largest in the world, returns to Toronto on May 21. Through May 31, enjoy 11 days of film screenings that showcase themes relevant to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered community. Featuring older favorites and newer films alike, the world-class event will span a variety of genres, subject matters, and cinematic styles. In addition to exploring sexuality on screen, the festival also features LGBT filmmakers.

Be sure to catch the highly anticipated Sundance motion picture "Grandma" starring Lily Tomlin. Before it's even playing at a theater near you, the dark comedy is already generating a bit of buzz for next year's Academy Awards. Showcasing independent American and international films alike, the event celebrates diversity and innovation in cinema.

From coming out in small-town America to a documentary about human rights in Russia, explore queer film that opens up a relevant dialogue about today's societal status quo.  See poignant love stories, raucous laugh-out-loud comedies, shorts that will make you think, and see foreign movies that are set in countries all over the world. Book your stay at InterContinental Yorkville to enjoy easy access to all this exciting entertainment. Featuring elegant, contemporary guestrooms with boutique amenities, an award-winning restaurant, and the SkyLounge patio voted the best in the city, our hotel is the perfect place to plan a stylish getaway. Enjoy back-to-back film screenings, then unwind here by using our fitness center, Penthouse indoor lap pool, and sauna.  For more information, you can visit us at toronto.intercontinental.com.
