Summer in Toronto can't be beat. Not only is the weather perfect, but the entertainment is nonstop. For golfers, there are several gorgeous courses in and around the city center, accessible until mid-November. Thursdays through mid-October at Metro Hall, the city is hosting INDULGE, an open-air fair featuring farm-fresh foods, local restaurants, and live music for everyone. June 8–17 is the Luminato Festival, with artistic entertainment of all kinds scattered throughout the city. Simultaneously, North by Northeast (NXNE), our Canadian equivalent to South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, brings more than 650 bands and 40 films from all over the world across Toronto. One week later is the Toronto Downtown Jazz and Blues Festival, June 22–July 1, with over 1500 artists.And no summer in Toronto is complete without celebrating Canada Day on July 1st.The Harborfront lights up with 4 days of free music June 29–July 2, and nightly fireworks from around the world, June 28–July 3.
