If you love movies, Reel Talk is the event for you. Presented by the Toronto International Film Festival, the twice-monthly screening series offers exclusive sneak peeks at upcoming international and English-language releases. Perhaps the most fun part of the whole thing is that the titles to be screened are never announced, meaning its always a surprise what you might be walking to witness. While this adds a thrilling bit of mystery, it’s also meant to enhance your viewing experience, as you enter the screening absent of any expectation or pretext.

Stimulating Snacks & Discussion

What better way to start your Sunday than with a healthy dose of culture? Enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee and pastries, take in the day’s film, then prepare yourself for a thoughtful exploration of its merits with fellow audience members – all carefully moderated by knowledgeable TIFF staff.

Reel Talk: Sneak Preview

Jan 17th & Feb 7th

Expect the unexpected, as past screenings in this English-language series have included previews of intimate indies, Hollywood blockbusters, and critical darlings like Unbroken, Deli ManDear White People, and Danny Collins.

Reel Talk: Contemporary World Cinema

Jan 24th & Feb 21st

This series is focused on engaging audiences in the gorgeous reach of filmmaking as an international art, unifying us all with the human need to express ourselves in storytelling.
