Nutcracker - Ballet

  The National Ballet of Canada in Toronto presents a worldwide holiday favorite spectacle- The Nutcracker. Why do little girls want to become ballerinas? What is the impetus that makes them sign up for their first ballet lessons? Often, it's seeing The Nutcracker for the first time. Choreographer James rich dream scape of the Sugar Plum Fairy, the Snow Queen, and the Nutcracker Prince. Set in imperial Russia, this ballet extravaganza delivers all the enchantment and wonder audiences have come to expect from the beloved tale. Tchaikovsky's unforgettable score is enhanced by gorgeously opulent sets, dazzling colorful costumers, and heart and soul performances by the National Ballet of Canada. Tickets are available for performances at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, which run from Dec. 19, 2012 through Jan. 5, 2013. Tickets are $37.50 to $136.
