Toronto St. Patrick's Day Parade - Sunday, March 15

It doesn’t matter whether you are Irish or not - St. Patrick’s Day is a reason to celebrate in Toronto. On Sunday, March 15, the 28th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes to the streets of downtown Toronto with a colorful collection of floats, marchers and performers. Over 100 entries make this parade one of the biggest in North America, and it attracts half a million spectators every year. For St. Patrick’s Day 2015, the Grand Marshal of the Parade will be Police Chief Bill Blair, a great honor for Toronto’s boys in blue. The Toronto Police Pipe Band was actually one of the first confirmed events for the inaugural parade, and has marched in the procession ever since. At the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, you can expect to see:

•    Decorated Floats
•    Marching Bands
•    Cultural Groups
•    Bagpipers
•    Performers
•    … plus much more!

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place in downtown Toronto, starting across from Varsity Stadium, continuing along Bloor Street, Yonge and Queen Street – and then finishing at Nathan Phillips Square.
